May is the month where our branch sponsors annual math and science awards for 8th grade girls attending Palo Alto Unified School District Middle schools.  Girls are chosen by the faculty at the schools for their work in science and math classes.

This school year only Jordan Middle school decided to give 8th grade awards – winners of the AAUW Awards received a certificate and AAUW memorabilia.

• Allison Z. — For showing remarkable aptitude in Science
