“They Fought Like Demons,” Tracing the women Soldiers of the Civil War.

Come and hear the compelling story of the women who took up arms and a man’s disguise in order to fight in our nations’ bloodiest war. There is evidence of at least 250 women soldiers fighting for the Union and Confederate armies. Lauded or condemned, their stories are remarkable.
