Our featured speaker, Lina-Maria Murillo is a current AAUW American Fellowship recipient. Lina is working toward her Ph.D. in History at the University of Texas in El Paso. Her research focuses on the intersections of race, gender, class, and sexuality in the history of women’s reproductive health and rights along the U.S. and Mexican border.
