As a member of the Palo Alto Branch you will share in opportunities for activism at the local level; network with women of diverse backgrounds and professions; enjoy the camaraderie of educated women while improving your personal and professional skills; develop and enhance your leadership skills; play a vital role in promoting equity through community action activities. You will receive relevant and timely news and publications that keep you informed about the latest research, fact sheets, alerts, and advancements on critical policy issues. Your branch membership includes membership at the international, national and state levels; and together we provide a powerful voice for women and girls.
AAUW, founded in 1881, is open to all graduates who hold an associate or equivalent degree , the baccalaureate, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or University. In principle and practice AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in the organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin or disability.
The membership year runs from July 1—June 30.
